Jadis has developed the all new integrated amplifier i50. This integrated amplifier has several interesting points, including the use of Tung-Sol KT-150 tubes for the output stage in push-pull configuration. This choice was dictated by their sound quality, and details, associated with their obvious power capability and reliability. In order to use the KT-150 in the best possible way, Jadis has reworked its schematic design, and developed specific new output transformers. As we all know, the knowhow of the manufacturer in handmade transformers is huge and everybody can be assured of their musicality and reliability over the time. It is very important the novel technique, as they cast every single transformer into a special resin, ensuring maximum sealing and thermal stability.
It is also noted that the polarization (bias) is automatic. Another feature of the i50, is that this amp incorporates a digital input to the standard USB 16/48 kHz, which is not so common -far from it, and for optimum comfort. For connection possibilities, there are 4 analogue inputs and 1 output for an additional power amp.
The Jadis i50 uses a remote volume control as well, which comes as a standard option.
The i50 has an output of 2 x 50 watts into 8 ohms in pure class A performance.
JADIS carries the entire manufacturing procedure in Villedubert in Southern France and everything is made by hand.
