Stirling Gold Reference is the first step into the heritage and performance of Tannoy Prestige. This compact floorstanding loudspeaker is rich with bespoke cabinetry and a new Dual Concentric Gold Reference driver that can trace its history back to 1967. Mating a treated paper pulp cone with a concentrically mounted 1in aluminium alloy tweeter with Tulip Waveguide, the Stirling’s 10in Dual offers pure point source musical articulation and outstanding dynamics.
The Stirling GR cabinet is hand built from the finest plywood using traditional joinery methods to ensure that attention to detail and unique styling go hand in hand. A distributed port design for exemplary LF response from the 85 litre enclosure, the cabinet is finished in Prestige oiled real wood veneer and complimented with machined metal trim and adjustable HF power. Stirling GR offers bespoke cabinetry and Prestige performance yet costs no more than typical mass produced loudspeakers.
